  • Start small: Begin with 2.5g (about ½ teaspoon) of cacao.

  • Increase gradually: Over time, move towards 5g, then 10g for a fuller, creamier body.

  • Refine your taste: As your palate develops, what once felt bitter will transform into a smooth, velvety experience.

Karaya Classic Recipe

A luxurious drink inspired by traditional cacao ceremonies.

 

Ingredients

  • 5g Karaya Bean cacao

  • 150ml hot water (80–90°C)

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • Dash of sea salt​

Optional

  • 1 tsp raw honey | raw sugar | syrup ​​

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • Ice​

Preparation:
Whisk cacao in hot water until smooth. Add spices and honey, adjusting to taste. Serve in a ceramic cup for a grounding experience.

Rose & Cardamom Cacao Latte

A sensual, floral twist on the cacao ritual.


Ingredients

  • 20g Karaya Bean cacao 

  • 120ml oat milk

  • 30ml hot water

  • ½ tsp ground cardamom

  • 1 tsp rose water

  • 1 tsp maple syrup:

Preparation:
Dissolve cacao in hot water. Steam oat milk with cardamom and rose water. Combine, sweeten with maple syrup, and garnish with dried rose petals.

Cacao & Blood Orange Tonic

Bright, bitter, and elegant — perfect for aperitif lovers.


Ingredients

  • 15g Karaya Bean cacao

  • 100ml tonic water

  • Juice of ½ blood orange

  • 1 tsp agave syrup

  • Ice cubes

Preparation
Shake cacao, orange juice, and agave with ice. Pour into a glass, top with tonic, and garnish with an orange twist.

Dark Cacao Affogato

An indulgent dessert ritual for evenings.


Ingredients

  • 25g Karaya Bean cacao

  • 80ml hot water

  • 1 scoop artisanal vanilla gelato

  • Shaved dark chocolate for garnish

Preparation:
Prepare a strong cacao shot with hot water. Pour over the gelato in a chilled glass. Garnish with chocolate shavings and enjoy immediately.
